I'm sure you can all play the major chords of E, A and C. These are three of the basic chords that we all started with when we first picked up a guitar. But then some people made the mistake of buying books that promised to show them lots of chords, sometimes as many as 5000 chords, and to be honest there aren't that many. There aren't even 500. Even if there were we couldn't remember them all.
