Tips

* Classical guitarists, spend as much time as you can when changing your strings, don't pull at them impatiently. Take them up to tension slowly. They'll last longer.

* You're half way through a gig and your strings have so much friction on them it feels as though you're playng with syrup on your fingers. Try this. Slide you left hand finger tips down the creases each side of your nose, then slide them up and down the strings. Voila, the natural oils are natures own Fast Fret.

* Always wrap the neck of your guitar when it's in the case. A thin tea towel is good. This stops natural oxidisation (that's rust, to you a me) of the strings and they will last longer.
